Overview

Restored using traditional building materials and techniques, in keeping with its original structure, Pear Tree Cottage sleeps 4 and is perfectly positioned for exploring the traditional towns and villages of the North Yorkshire Moors and coast. Including Whitby, Scarborough, Robin Hood’s Bay, Pickering, Hutton le Hole and Grosmont, also known as Heartbeat Country.

The stunning surrounding scenery is best viewed from the back of the property and there’s an enclosed stone patio garden to the front, complete with hot tub and outdoor seating.

*The hot tub is for exclusive use and subject to an optional heating + caretaking charge of £75 for the entirety of your stay.

Set across a single level, there are 2 en-suite bedrooms (one king-sized and one twin) and an open-plan kitchen, living and dining space, complete with log burner, wooden surfaces and adjustable mood lighting. This is also one of our pet-friendly properties and we can accommodate 1 large – medium or 2 small canine companions. Due to the layout, no exceptions can be made.

There’s plenty to see and do close by and Pear Tree is just a short walk from the sleepy hamlet of Harwood Dale, where you’ll find tracks and trails for all ages and abilities.

Our office is based on-site, so staff are available to greet you and provide guidance throughout your stay. We also offer a welcome pack of milk, biscuits, wine, jam and bread.

Good holiday in a comfortable cottage. Visited Whitby, Scarborough and Hartlepool – all free parking. Trenchers in Whitby highly recommended for seafood.
