Overview
Dating back to the 1830’s, Thirley Cotes Farmhouse is a Grade II listed Georgian property sleeping 8 and set in the quite village of Harwood Dale (on the edge of the North Yorkshire Coast).
Complete with hot tub and enclosed stone garden, this pet-friendly hideaway is perfect for families, groups of friends and four-legged companions and just a short hop away are the seaside towns of Scarborough and Whitby.
Downstairs the Farmhouse showcases a spacious dining room, south facing lounge (overlooking the estate and surrounding scenery) and a large and well stocked country kitchen filled with modern conveniences and appliances. Alongside a utility room and entrance hall.
During cooler months you can make the most of the multi fuel burning stove (initial supply of logs provided) and there’s underfloor heating throughout.
The first storey is home to a master king bedroom with en-suite bathroom and panoramic views of our surroundings (best enjoyed from the roll top tub). While a double and twin bedroom share access to the family restroom with freestanding bath and shower.
On the second floor there is a large twin bedroom with separate shower and playroom/chill out space for all ages, complete with pool table, bean bags and board games.
We also offer a complementary welcome pack of milk, bread, jam, biscuits and wine. As well as a small something for your canine companions. We can accommodate 2 dogs of any size.

Complimentary starter pack of lavatory paper per WC, bin liners, dishwasher tablets, disposal bags (small), general purpose cleaner, hand soap/dispenser, cloths, toilet cleaner, washing machine powder and washing up liquid are included and a cot and high chair are available on request.
