Overview

Set in the stunning North Yorkshire Moors, with Scarborough only a short drive away, Willow Cottage sleeps 4 and is a wonderful home for couples, families or a small group of friends to get together.

The property (formerly an 18th century cart-shed) comes complete with contemporary conveniences, traditional features, underfloor heating throughout and bags of country-costal charm. Add to the mix two enclosed terrace gardens, a Weber BBQ, Teak outdoor seating and private hot tub, and you’ll feel a million miles away from the hustle and bustle.

The private hot tub is for exclusive use and subject to an optional heating and caretaking charge of £75 for the entirety of your stay.

Staying true to its original structure, Willow is a single level open-plan property, making the most of high ceilings and fabulous feature windows and has 2 bedrooms (a double and twin).

The open-plan living area comes complete with 46” Smart TV and DVD / Blu-Ray player, ideal for curling up with a box set. We also provide a welcome pack of milk, biscuits, wine, jam and bread.

21 acres of surrounding grounds and woodland makes this the perfect pet-friendly cottage (we can accommodate 1 large or 2 small – medium sized dogs) and you might spot our resident Barn Owls.

Well, what can I say? Yet another fabulous stay at Thirley Cotes (this is our third). We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Willow cottage, absolutely fantastic, everything you need and more. Looking forward to our next stay here.

A wonderful weeks stay. We loved relaxing in the hot tub and had some great days out to Whitby, York, Robin Hoods Bay, Pickering and Malton. The Tap Bar at Whitby Abbey was a great find.

What a wonderful retreat! Very relaxing and beautiful surroundings. Thanks for the welcome pack. There is a nice mile walk from the church about 8 miles (a bit wet so go wrapped up).
