Overview

Nestled on the edge of the wonderfully untouched wilds of the North Yorks Moors and Coast, you’ll be swept away by this traditional barn conversion. Perfect for families, friends, couples and canine companions alike. Whether it’s a celebration or just a much-needed break.

Dating back to the 1830’s, this traditionally restored cottage offers a home-from-home experience, complete with an open plan living and dining space, wood burner, bronze fixtures and fittings and private sun-soaked terrace with hot tub.

The surrounding countryside sets the scene for a back-to-nature escape and this roomy retreat sleeps 4 across 2 en-suite bedrooms (one king and one twin).

The neighbouring hamlet of Harwood Dale offers tracks and trails for all ages and abilities and you’re not far from the seaside towns of Scarborough, Whitby and Robin Hood’s Bay, as well as Hackness, Thornton le Dale, Pickering, Hutton le Hole and Grosmont (also known as Heartbeat Country).

There’s plenty to see and do close by and if you have a four-legged friend with you, there’s bags of tail-wag-worthy walks to be discovered. We can accommodate one large – medium or two small sized dogs and offer a welcome pack of milk, biscuits, wine, jam and bread.
