Well, what can I say? Yet another fabulous stay at Thirley Cotes (this is our third). We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Willow cottage, absolutely fantastic, everything you need and more. Looking forward to our next stay here.

Four ladies had a lovely relaxing stay here. Everything was perfect. Cottage very clean and surroundings amazing. Hot tub was a bonus and a nice chill out for a few days.

A wonderful weeks stay. We loved relaxing in the hot tub and had some great days out to Whitby, York, Robin Hoods Bay, Pickering and Malton. The Tap Bar at Whitby Abbey was a great find.

Everything was wonderful. The only one problem – we had to go back home!!

Good holiday in a comfortable cottage. Visited Whitby, Scarborough and Hartlepool – all free parking. Trenchers in Whitby highly recommended for seafood.

What a wonderful cottage our age group was 7 to 70 and everyone enjoyed their Christmas in this idyllic place. We would all love to come back. Thank you to all the brilliant staff.

A wonderful Cottage with perfect views. We felt like we were in the Home Alone House! Kids were entertained with the games room and the kitchen had everything you could think of. The hot tub was wonderful.

The Cottage itself is delightful, the internal decor has been well thought out. Having access to a paddock and small woodland is an added bonus for our dogs. This has been our first visit but we shall return.

Brilliant Cottage-Brilliant Location. Ideal for seeing and exploring the Yorkshire coast and countryside. The small forest across the field was great for our dog. The welcome pack was outstanding.

Farmhouse and Cottages couldn’t be improved upon A1. All cottages totally accommodated. Found so many things to do in the area both breath-taking and interesting. Garden beautiful, views splendid and the peace greatly appreciated. Loved the history and renovation of the whole complex- done with style and top standards.

This is our second visit to Holly Cottage. We visited back in Nov 2019. Such a wonderful place to unwind and relax. Everything is perfect for the three of us. So sad to be leaving but I am sure we will be back again.

We have had a lovely, but far too short stay in Mulberry Cottage. the cottage has been beautifully restored and makes a very comfortable house, with amazing views across the valley. What a fantastic cottage the facilities are absolutely perfect for a guest with limited mobility. Well equipped and great location. The property was beautiful, spacious and in impeccable condition, and exceeded our expectations from the listing. Whilst being on a small complex of holiday homes, our little house and garden area felt peaceful and private. It consistently felt like the owners had gone that extra mile to make everything effortless… including a lovely welcome pack, local information shared, car chargers, games room and thoughtfully equipped property overall. Amazing week away at this lovely cottage.  It has everything we need and is so spacious.  We have enjoyed exploring the local area and visiting North Bay beach in Scarborough.  Lovely local pubs and plenty of supermarkets to stock up for a BBQ on the patio.  Hot tub has been a lovely touch too.

Absolutely beautiful cottage in stunning surroundings, great for the dog and the kids enjoyed the games room. Everything had been thought of, down to charcoal for the BBQ! it’s a drive to get anywhere but we don’t mind that at all, easily visited Scarborough, Bridlington, Whitby, robin hoods bay, and goath land. would recommend and stay here again

An amazing place to stay for the week. Very peaceful!. Great outdoor space around the cottage, green field for frisbee or football. We visited Whitby, Scarborough, Robin Hoods bay and Goathland. We went on North Yorkshire Moors railway- Whitby-Pickering was fantastic, a must for all ages.

A fabulous stay at Mulberry cottage to celebrate Nannys 75th . We all made the best memories with trips to Whitby, Pickering, Filey, Falling Foss and Alpamare. The views were incredible and the hot tub fantastic. The staff always happy to help. Will be back soon.

We’ve had a wonderful stay at Walnut cottage, it had everything we needed.  Hot tub was great and the boys loved playing pool in the games room.  Had wonderful walks and trips to Falling Foss, Robin Hoods Bay, Cayton Bay and Whitby.  Thirley Cotes is such a great place, clean and welcoming.  the welcome packs were really useful and helpful, Ruben loved his treats.  Thank you so much.

Excellent accommodation. Warm and well equipped. Met up with our Bridesmaid and Best Man, we all married in 1965 so will be celebrating our Golden wedding anniversary here next year!

Came for a quiet break away from fireworks. Lovely, peaceful area and cottage so comfortable with all mod cons. Staff helpful and knowledgeable of the area. Thank you.

Lovely stay in Pear Tree Cottage – slept very well in the comfy bed.  Very cosy cottage – with everything that you need.  Hot tub is a great addition.  We would love to return.

We had such a good time at the cottage. It’s beautiful, modernized but not stripped off its history. We felt at home the entire week we stayed here. Everything was thought through by the hosts. The instructions were very helpful and the hosts were able to check us in early which was great. Parking is right across from the entry. The hot tub provided a relaxing end to cool active days. The area is very quiet and beautiful, but also very close to Scarborough, Ravenscar and Whitby where we went to for local attractions and restaurants. Strongly recommend!

We are slowly visiting all the cottages, Willow, Farmhouse and now Pear Tree. They are all so different in their own way. The cottage is so clean and well equipped and the staff are so friendly. The hot tub is the icing on the cake.

Our second stay at Walnut cottage was just as amazing as the first time. A great base to explore the lovely Yorkshire countryside and beaches. We really appreciate the lovely Christmas decorations and staff always helpful

What a wonderful week, our second New Year in Walnut.  Restful after a few chaotic.  Thirley Cotes had become our favourite place to be after visiting for many years,  different seasons never disappoints and always find something new in the area, making so many family memories.  Than you all for always making us so welcome.  See you soon.

Thank you so much we had a lovely stay. The cottage was really spacious for our party of ten, lovely and warm too. I was also pleased to see you have put heated towel rails in the en-suite a real bonus. The hot tub was kept clean and we used it every day, we were lucky with the weather too as it stayed dry for us. I have to say you have thought of every thing in the way of the equipment, I even did some baking ! It’s our second stay here and hopefully will not be our last, always someone on hand if we needed anything. All the staff were lovely and polite a big thank you

We enjoyed our holiday and the beautiful scenery. We found the cottage very well equipped, the staff great, the hot tub super especially at dusk or early evening. The Christmas hamper was very nice, especially the fizz.

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful barn conversion.  Had time in the hot tub stargazing.  A beautiful location, a beautiful place.

We’ve had a fabulous stay,  it is our third stay at Thirley Cotes and every stay has been wonderful.  We are looking forward to coming back in December.
